How much subsidy is available from NABARD on Goat Farming Loan

Under NABARD, 33 percent subsidy is given to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries on loans for goat rearing. At the same time, other people, including the general category, are given 25 per cent subsidy, subject to a maximum limit of Rs 2.5 lakh.

A loan of up to Rs.5 lakh can be availed from the bank on 20 goats. Under this scheme, people living in the village who are associated with goat farming business can easily start goat farming business by providing all their necessary documents in the bank.

How to get loan..?

To get a goat farm loan, first you can go to your nearest bank or animal husbandry center. From there you can apply for a loan to buy a new goat under the Goat Farming Scheme.

For providing Goat Farming Loan, the bank will give the loan amount only after verifying your business plan report, ITR slip, Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank account number, bank statement of last 6 months.
